We love it when a plan comes together!

Lightning storms took out the mains electricity supplies to large parts of Plymouth yesterday afternoon, including the Science Park. We were glad to see that our arrangements activated automatically, with UPS and stand-by generator doing their thing 100% successfully.

Apart from the inconvenience to some staff of the main lights going out for several minutes, and some time spent double-checking that there were no unexpected consequences, this had no effect on our business. Real-world events are better than any artificial tests for proving whether things work or not. We love it when a plan comes together!
